Precision zirconia ceramic parts

Advanced ceramic materials provide an extremely high wear-resistance with reduced friction losses substantially increase the service life of ceramic components and yet biocompatible, that have high temperature as well as chemical resistance and ultimate bending strength.
Using CIM technology the parts are processed on especially equipped injection molding machines (green part production). After injection moulding, the green parts are conveyed to the debinding process; after that the components are sintered at approx. 1,500°C in a sintering oven. As the surface quality after sintering is already high, finishing is often not necessary. If needed, components can additionally be processed by conventional techniques, such as grinding, polishing, cutting, etc, to be obtained high surface finish.
